Also, I’m super excited because I think rain and snow will look really with this preset once Seasons comes out? And thank you to for the super cool diner, I’m obsessed with it! Anyway, I hope you guys like this! Important Things to Note: I’m, uh…sure you can guess where the inspiration for this came from.
It’s very heavy on bloom, DOF and shadow effects, so it’s not suitable for regular gameplay.įeel free to tag me if you use it! You certainly don’t have to, but it would make me very happy to see what you create with this!įuchsiateasims: Silent Hill - A Reshade 3.0 Preset for TS4! This preset was made for taking cinematic shots. You need to have edge smoothing and post-processing effects turned off for the DOF effect to work. You need to use Reshade 3.0! I can’t guarantee this will work the same with other versions. Lots of dreamy purples this time with stronger lighting effects. I based this preset off the really gorgeous lighting and ambience from a Steam game of the same name (a game that’s FREE and short, so you should totally play it!).

This plays quite nicely with other lighting mods like NoGlo and NoBlu! Screenshots must be taken with the ‘print screen’ key, and will populate in the same location you installed the preset in. You can toggle the entire preset on and off with the Caps Lock key. Click here for a handy guide on installing Reshade if you’re new to it! To install, be sure to drop the file here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 4\Game\Bin This was made using Reshade 3.0, but since it doesn’t use any crazy effects, I think it will very likely work with other versions - however, I can’t confirm from personal experience, so feel free to test this out. You can definitely add those things in the Reshade menu if you want to though! Important Things to Note: This is just to enhance your experience/visuals during play without sacrificing game performance. That being said, there are no fancy bells and whistles with this! It’s waaaaay more subtle than my other presets. This preset is a subtler one for lower-end machines, or those just looking for improved light and shadows, additional ambient lighting, less of that tacky EA blue, and a richer/more realistic color palette for the game.
